Gimmick: Formerly a barbaric Viking while under Robert Jackson, now just a man on a quest for respect.

Appearance: Borden has ditched any trace of his "Nordic" persona. He has cut his long hair, and trimmed his beard down to a goatee. His Viking outfit has been replaced by simple black trunks, with a white 1800's era rifle on the back, black boots and black knee pads. Keeps a towel over his head on his way to the ring and also carries a broken glass, thumbtack, and barbed wire baseball bat to the ring as well.

Background: After being in Robert Jackson Enterprises for the first nine months of his UWL career, Borden left that organization in the spring of 2007. Reasons being a bad gimmick, no guidance from Jackson, no respect from his peers, and no pay per view matches, among others. Borden dropped the "barbaric Viking" gimmick and embraced his Texas roots. The decision has paid off for Borden, as he has gotten the attention of
Johann Skold, who began recruiting Borden for Nemesis almost as soon as Borden reinvented himself.
