Being fascinated by Norse mythology, Thor decided to shape himself as a heavy metal tribute to the thunder god himself. Usually rather laidback, but can get VERY intense when he's severely provoked. Appearance: Thor is one big and powerful-looking dude, who has bleached his shoulder-height long, wavy hair light blond, although one can notice his dark blond hair under all the highlights. He also sports a dark blond goatee on his chin, and has a tattoo which reads "Raiden" in Japanese symbols. He usually wears a variety of t-shirts featuring the logos of various metal bands, dark blue jeans with a belt which sports a shiny metal skull-shaped belt buckle and dark blue wrestling boots with blood red stripes on the side. He also likes to carry around a sledgehammer, which he has aptly named Mjolnir. Background: Born as the product of the bassist of a heavy metal band, a groupie and a broken condom, young Thorvald Ranheim wasn't exactly destined to have a normal upbringing. Still, he managed to get through life with the help of his two passions: his love of heavy tunes and his aptitude at sports. While he was good at school, he seemed to have little interest in getting any higher education, and instead relied on his dream on becoming a famous heavy metal band frontman, naming himself Maximum Thor. However, he quickly realized that his dreams might have been a tad unrealistic, as his band never managed to gain any popularity, mostly due to internal struggle within the band. Trying to find a way to support himself, Thor decided to use his naturally large size to his advantage, becoming a bouncer at various events. And while he was generally satisfied with his own work, he still felt that there was more that he was destined for. One night though, he managed to find his next big passion that would ultimately lead to his position today. Being hired as a member of security at a local wrestling event, he was quickly fascinated by this display of athleticism. Being impressed, he approached the wrestling promoter after the event and asked if he could get some formal professional wrestling training. The promoter, being rather impressed himself by Thor large frame, happily obliged, and after months of vigorous training, Thor made his in-ring debut, by being the tallest member of the roster of that wrestling company's history. After years of touring around Europe, dominating most of his opposition, Maximum Thor has finally hit the American scene, hoping to find further success and better fights.
